For C face explosion proof motors, “C face” refers to the installation type. It is a kind of flange to fit the flange of the driven equipment.
Our C face explosion proof motors are NEMA B designed. The position of the terminal box is at left hand side (viewing from driving end). Full series of motors from 140 to 440 frame size can all be equipped with C face.
